Funeral for East Side map maker De Pati in St Paul
Frank W. De Pati formerly a brakeman on the Northern Pacific died after an accident at Sandpoint Idaho February 9. His funeral was held February 19 at St John s church with high requiem mass. Interment followed at Calvary cemetery. The body was shipped to St Paul from Missoula where he died after hospitalization and amputation of a limb. He was born in Faribault Minnesota thirty three years ago and had lived in St Paul before moving to Spokane seven years ago where he worked for the NP railroad and played baseball for West Publishing, Winnipeg and Spokane pennant teams. relatives from Minneapolis and Emmetsburg attended the funeral.

Encounter With Wolves Ends in Fatal Shot Near Graettinger
Frank Nelson, living southeast of here, reports a hunting incident where his dog roused two wolves. He wounded one in the hip with a 22 rifle, provoking the other to attack. Nelson broke the gun over the animal’s head, killing it instantly. the second wolf retreated.
