Mrs. Hansen 86 Ruthven Resident Passes Away
Mrs. Carrié Hansen aged 86 longtime Ruthven resident died Friday at Longhouse. Funeral services were held Monday at Zion Lutheran Ruthven with Rev. Mario Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Highlang Cemetery. She was born March 3, 1880 in Ruthven and survived by a daughter, a sister, and a brother among others.

Earl Henaman 45 Former Ruthven Resident Dies
Funeral services for Earl Charles Henaman 45 of Spirit Lake a former Ruthven resident were held with Rev James Brown officiating. Burial in North Lawn Cemetery with Spirit Lake American Legion rites. Henaman died after a 13 day illness in Waukon. He was a Stoller Fish Hatchery truck driver and plant worker born December 28 1920 in Fostoria. Survivors include his wife Shirley seven children seven sisters and four brothers.
