Mrs J R Hughes Klemme Passes in Ruthven Iowa
Ruthven Iowa February 10. The many ties of Mrs J R Hughes were saddened by her recent passing away at her home in Klemme Iowa. She had been ill for several months and all that could be given alleviate her condition was time. Marie Simon born in Chicago July 80 1GRL hence she was 31 years six months and three days old at death. She was the third child of Nicholas and Emp Simon. Her father died in Minneapolis and she came with her mother brother and sister to Ruthven in 1883 where she lived until a few years ago. She graduated Ruthven schools in 1B and later taught rural schools. She and her sister conducted a store and were successful. She was married to James RK Sernes en. Three children Maris Baul and Richard survive with her husband and mother. She will be missed by many and devotion to her home. The obituary list includes services and pallbearers with interment at this place in the ME Si otusch. The pallbearers listed were Wil Simon Welter Ted ref amit Sse Gear and Jobo Gistophersan.
