Dramatic: Mary Cowman Martha Gelwt Ardus Thompson Mary Ward. Humorous: Leta Brownlee Lois Caganu Jean Gardner Cecil Hamand. Vyron Trice won first in fraterical group, Billie Turner second. Mary Ward first in dramatic, Mary Cowman second. Leta Brownlee won humorous with Jean Gardner second.
Declamatory contests were held over three evenings in Emmetsburg. Contestants placing will compete in the home declamatory contest on Monday February 12 with entrants in Oratorical Dramatic and Humorous categories listed by name.
