The sole survivor clarified by four brothers and a sister. Remains moved to Fort Dodge for burial with Presbyterian services. Burial occurred Sunday.
The town of Osgood will receive a rural route on April 1 with a new postmaster. A carrier will begin delivering to about 80 families northeast of town. Congressman Dickinson urged the change and James P. Jones now serves as local mail carrier. The Des Moines Labor College opens March 2.
The Emmetsburg township Farm Bureau will hold a postponed debate at Joyce School Center on Thursday February 7. The Emmetsburg team will argue with Rush Lake on the statewide farmers subject and the audience is urged to attend in large numbers to hear content of value.
