Deneen Funeral Rites Held For Emmetsburg Woman
Mrs. Jatin J. Benson 77, longtime Emmetsburg resident, died at home after a period of illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Assumption Calwolld church with Rev. W. F. Maxon officiating. Burial followed at St. John's Cemetery. She was born January 26, 1872 in Wisconsin and married James Deneen in 1899. The couple moved to Palo Alto county and raised eight children. two predeceased her. The family noted Mr. Deneen had died years ago and was active in business and church circles.
