West Bend Girls Capture Palo Alto County Tournament Title
West Bend high school won the seventeenth annual Palo Alto County girls basketball tournament at Emmetsburg High School gym. The final saw West Bend defeat Mallard 43 to 37 after a strong offensive show led by their defense and team play. Mallard had led early before West Bend’s rally.

New Jefferson Nickel To Replace Buffalo Design
