Palo Alto county AAA committee received official notice this week outlining 1944 corn loans. Ear corn at moisture up to 20.5 percent qualifies for loans from December 1944 to March 31, 1945 at nine cents per bushel with adjustments for moisture. Beginning April 1 1945 the moisture limits rise and May 1945 limits apply. loans adjust for shrinkage and moisture per the official table.
Above 20.5 percent no hail loans will bear 3 percent annual interest from disbursement and mature on demand September 1, 1945. A full description of cribs and eligible structures will be discussed at township election meetings from December 4 to December 9.
