Algona Man W P Burn Dies After Rochester Hospital Stay
W P Burn of Algona died Friday after a six week hospital stay in Rochester. Funeral services were held at St Cecelia Church in Algona Monday. He lived on a farm near Algona since 1811 and is survived by his wife three sons and two daughters. His eldest daughter Miss Margaret heads the chemistry department at Maye Hospital in Rochester.

Sheriff Stebbins Mourns Wife in Pocahontas County
Local friends report the death of Mrs. Stebbins, wife of Cheriff Chas. Stebbins of Pocahontas County. Born in Anamosa Iowa she married Mr Stebbins in 1885. They lived in Webster City and Gilmore City before moving to Pocahontas. Funeral held at Danish Lutheran Church Gilmore City with burial there.

Humboldt Lady Killed Touring Europe On Honeymoon
Mrs. O. B. Hilton of Humboldt daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. J. Share died in Holland from injuries after an accident while her honeymoon trip. Her remains will be brought to Humboldt for burial. Rev. J. J. Share previously spoke at a farm meeting in Barpetsburg. Local friends express sorrow.

Will Seek State Championship by Palo Alto County 4-H Team

Two Mason City Men Charged After Boy’s Death
Two Mason City men intoxicated killed four year old Mert Moxam Jr the son of Mr and Mrs K Bloxam. The driver Magnus Christensen 45 was held for manslaughter after the car struck the Bloxam vehicle and threw the boy from the rear. Frank Skalicky 44 pleaded guilty to intoxication and was fined ten dollars. The boy suffered a fractured skull and broken jaws and did not regain consciousness.

Ira Oddson twenty two, son of Mrs BE A Oddson, died at dusk when his team fright became unhitched and wagon possibly ran over him or he was crushed against a tree. He died moments after the tragedy. Dr Mc Manus could not reach him in time. Oddson suffered chest injuries and head bruises.
