Mrs Nancy Allison McKinley died early Sunday in Canton Ohio with all her children and close relatives at her bedside. Born 1809 near Lisbon she married William McKinney and later moved to Canton where nine children were born including William the president. Her husband died in 1892 aged ten years after her passing.

He has been kept nude in a small outhouse in filthy condition with nothing to lie upon. The state board of lunacy is investigating and Westmoreland County authorities may assume charge as his estate can cover costs.
New York dispatched 9 000 foreign money orders totaling £24654 via the St Paul for Christmas gifts. Most go to Norway and Sweden, marking the first large batch of such orders this city. Later batches follow for Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, and finally France for New Year gifts.
