Bangor Men Challenge Green Lake Fish Law in Court
Edward J. Hunt and M. H. Rideout of Bangor were found guilty of violating the Green Lake fish law on April 21 and fined ten dollars plus ten dollars per fish caught, with costs totaling 32.31. The case was appealed and slated for August Supreme Court review as Hunt and Rideout seek a ruling on the law. They proposed a broader complaint naming eleven other Bangor men who fished under the same conditions, aiming to settle the matter without further prosecutions.
