Hancock 8 Court Cases Assigned For Trial At January Term
The Maine Supreme Judicial Court for Hancock County opened yesterday with Justice L A Emery presiding and an official robe debut. An extra juror panel was ordered to handle a busier docket, with sixteen more jurors summoned for Friday and estimates of about a dozen trials. The forenoon covered docket calls and case assignments for trials beginning January 24 to January 30, including several equity and common law matters. Traverse jurors were named from multiple towns and a second panel of Ellsworth jurors was drawn to support the sessions.
