Ghostly Visitor in Haunted House Spawns Midnight Terror

The specter, Caspar Troup, recounts his murder and haunts his killer as the pair witness a chilling pursuit through Standiford's room before leaving in fear. The tale ends with Standiford’s uneasy composure afterward. Also noted is Canton’s Water Clock, housed in a temple on the city walls, where a four jar clepsydra marks time with a century old ritual.
