Reports from Stockholm cite travelers saying Petrograd is in flames. Other dispatches claim 2000 killed in Moscow street fighting and widespread anarchy with mob violence against Jews. A possible coalition government including Bolsheviks is reportedly forming in Moscow.
Villa forces retain a port on the Mexican border after a two hour assault on Ojinaga. The plaza was occupied at eight o clock with about 200 deaths reported. The Associated Press correspondent at Presidio Texas says reports of Marti Lopez being secured are untrue.
Ed Caine of Elko County denies interest in a governor nomination. He confirms plans to seek the Democratic nomination for Congress, predicting Roberta will run again for the Republicans and arguing Caine has best chance to unseat him.

British forces in Palestine attacked Turkish positions and drove the enemy seven miles, with Gen Maurice stating the Turkish forces facing Gen Allenby have lost half their effectives. He noted one cavalry division taken 1100 prisoners along with two guns and 14 machine guns. Tekrit on the Tigris northwest of Baghdad had been entrenched and captured earlier.
