Robbery on the Central Pacific near Peoquop claims thousands

Last Saturday night Central Pacific trains at Peoquop were halted and the engine and express car detached and robbed. Wells, Fargo & Co. offer a 5000 dollar reward for the capture of the robbers. A glove bearing Carr’s name was found at the scene. Carr is linked to a recent death at Camp Halleck. Officers pursue the assailants amid a flurry of mining and local notices.
