W. T. Rich, Australian wool expert, will address Western sheepmen at the Courthouse at 8 oclock. The speaker, a foremost authority on Australian shearing and classification, has promoted the method in western states and cites cost savings and higher prices for classified wool. Rich tours Nevada cities to discuss the wool industry.
Louis Case, son of Mr and Mrs Harry Case, reported finding an expensive fountain pen at the Independent office. He requested a public notice so the owner could recover the prop. His honesty is noted as rare for any age. Also included is a San Francisco note on the Panama Pacific Exposition closing December 4th and insurance concerns urging wide publicity.
