Colonel Rosario Garcia, a Villa leader, was executed at Juarez cemetery after being captured at Santa Ana Hacienda. The 17 year old Yaqui fighter greeted Carranza troops with humor, urged speed, and offered his cigarette ritual before the lines shot him in the heart. Witnesses included several women in the crowd.
Notice to the public states that due to the election and legal holiday in Nevada, several stores will close at twelve o'clock noon on Tuesday November 7. The list includes George Russell Co, Hesson D Sutherland & McFarlane, Eliajo Mercantile Co, John Yowell, Independent Meat Me.
