Donald Ferguson Dies on Coast

Word reached San Francisco of the death of Donald Ferguson a pioneer mining engineer and mine manager for eastern controlled properties in the Goldfield district He headed operations in Goldfield traveled to South America and Mexico and once ran a Humboldt county property near the National camp His death cause was not learned late today He was well known in Biko with many local friends and frequent visits to the area.

Coliseum prep under way for Democratic convention

St Louis May 31 Work of preparing the Coliseum for the Democratic national convention will begin Saturday night and the hall should be ready by June 12. The national committee will meet then to hear seats contests and a private wire will link the Coliseum to the White House during sessions. Secretary Kremer said many state delegations will arrive by special trains, with about 30 trains expected. Applications for over 100000 seats have been received, but fewer than 10000 will be available to the general public.

Vanderbilt Attack by Anarchist Leads to Arrest
