Paris March 18 Two violent explosions in a factory at Larcourneuve north of Paris killed sixteen and injured many others. Official reports say housing losses leave some shelterless. Sheriff Harris lists ten Elko county volunteers for the first contingent including Roy Corbett Roy Merrithen Jin McMullen M B Cross Guy Brown Oliver Grover Carl Grover Jimmie Hays Walter Mann and Will Crane.
