Witt and Oxnam Hanged in California

Glenn Witt was hanged at Folsom state prison and Charles Oxnam at San Quentin for the 1914 murder of Los Angeles attorney William Alexander. The killings followed an attempted burglary. Witt sobbed and cried I am being railroaded as the scaffold rose. Oxnam faced death calmly.

Wells Fargo Tax Suit Filed By Humboldt County

Army bills expected in Congress tomorrow

It is believed that the army bills will reach Congress tomorrow after the Howie committee on military affairs approved a bill increasing the army to 700,000 peace strength.
