June 30 report says Brazil's navy began cooperating with the United States fleet in South American waters to hunt German sea raiders and monitor submarines. Paris June 30 The armored cruiser Kieber struck a mine near St Mathew on Wednesday and sank. Three officers and thirty five men were lost.
