War Stamp Pledge Campaign Sees Encouraging Canvass
Reno Rotary Club reports strong drive for war stamp pledges with captains canvassing areas and a county goal of 457000 by June 28. Some declines noted but committee plans house to house visits and per capita pledges of 20 dollars per resident to reach quota by year end. A noon luncheon at the River Side Hotel tallied nearly 7000 in pledges with more promised.
