Rabid Dog Attack Prompts Elko County Rabies Wariness
Miss L alle McCain was bitten on the ankle by a strange dog while en route to the S P depot. The animal was captured and confirmed rabid by Dr. Mack in Reno. Others bitten include Frances Schuylerman’s child and Ivan Hinerman. several more men were also exposed as authorities order universal dog muzzle or detention and swift treatment arrangements.

After a fierce struggle the dogs killed the coyote but were badly injured, and Stinton killed the dogs to prevent potential rabies. Returns 10 Nevada After Half Century
William Epler, pioneer of Nevada and last surviving member of the first territorial convention, returned to his state after 46 years amid Carson City and Virginia City search for youth.
