J. M. Murray of the Western Pacific lunch counter reports increasing World's Fair traffic. He had twenty five tourlets for breakfast this morning off No. 3, and notes travel is constantly rising with as many as sixty patrons served on some mornings.
Two women from the Tenderloin district sue Battle Mountain constable Hash for $10,000 damages after he arrested them for drunkenness. The suit alleges wrongful arrest and harm in the line of duty.
The State Racing Commission ruled member Charles Boots illegal in office and asked for his resignation after Boots proposed a resolution to halt the race meet.
Petrograd reports that German forces crossing the Narew River south of Rozan were driven back at Oxaski after a stubborn battle, while other crossings southeast of Pultsk were repulsed at the River Prout. All Narew front attacks failed. outposts continue fighting for several points.

Mike Bowler of Western Pacific round house suffered severe injuries when a water glass exploded, severely burning and cutting his eyes but sight saved.
William J. Bryan former secretary of state will occupy Dr Charles F Aked's pulpit at the First Congregational Church in San Francisco tomorrow night. His subject will be The United States and the Peace of the World.
