A Western Pacific incident causes trains to drift from SX to fifteen feet while Bucking Snow Engine derails, blocking both lines and tying up traffic as Southern Pacific traffic slows across the region.
Snow drifts between Deeth and Wells halt Western Pacific traffic since last Thursday. No one injured when engines derailed while freeing a stuck passenger train No. 4. Wrecking trains from Carlin and this place cleared the line after a night and day of effort. Seven engines and about seventy five workers are on the job. two passenger trains moved through Sierras, and a new de touring plan was arranged for travelers from the west and east at Uni and Wells.
