Berlin reports Romania declares war on Austria Hungary with Entente influence cited. German ministers receive passports, and turmoil spreads through Berlin. Mr and Mrs W G Frame celebrate the safe arrival yesterday of a baby girl at their Heights residence. Mother and child are reported to be doing well.
Rodeo performers thrilled a Fair Grounds crowd with stunts and riding yesterday. John Stend teh rode a wild horse and impressed spectators while Pave White mastered the infamous horse Billy Held. Jack Murray, Cowboy Bill, Nex Brown, and Carl Sepulveda displayed standout work among the steer roping acts. The hat passed for expenses drew generous support, with Jack Sterling aiding Garcia in ceremonies. Garcia received a telegram from Frank Harriman to enter the thoroughbred for relay races.

Knights of Pythias from Elko Nevada request all local and visiting members to assemble at the Pythian Hall on Court Street tomorrow at 1:30 pm for the funeral of their departed brother Ace Womack who died Saturday afternoon after a lingering illness. The rites begin at 2 pm using the Knights of Pythias ritual. Burial will be in the K of P cemetery. Womack, who came from Illinois 24 years ago, was 60 years, 5 months and 28 days old. He is survived by his widow five sons and one daughter. He was loved for kindness and charity by many in Nevada and Idaho.
