U S Troops Capture Mexican Colonel in Border Action

Official Brownsville reports confirm a raid engagement with Mexican filibusters west of Fort Hancock. Captain Ryan captured twenty eight raiders including Colonel Ricardo Aguilar a Huertista figure suspected of Huerta ties. Heavy forces are massing along the border to repel further incursions.

Ralza Submarined Rips Crew. 13 Missing

The British steamer Ralza was torpedoed today off a coastal area. Captain Ritchie and eleven crew members were landed, leaving thirteen crewmen missing after the sub attack reported by United Press from London.

Secretary of Navy Daniels ordered the gunboat Osceola from Guantanamo to Port Au Pringe. Alfredo Jaramillo drew a razor on a dusky damsel and received sixty days in jail for carrying a concealed weapon. Rabid Coyotes Threaten Humboldt Ranch

Humboldt Star reports a rabid coyote entered the Taylor and Sheehan ranch near Golconda attacked four dogs killed several chickens and restlessly watched workers before being killed at midnight. Landowner Fined in Justice Court for Fencing Public Highway
