Washington May 14 Roosevelt opened the conservation of national resources session. James J. Hill and Thomas Chamberlin discussed soil wastage and natural wealth. The gathering, led by Governor Deneen, included executives from forty cities and highlighted national resource policy.

Funeral arrangements await word from out of town relatives.
Reserve Trust Company filed an assignment in favor of Superior Savings and Trust Company in Cleveland on May 14 due to financial stringency. Liabilities and assets total 2,700,000 dollars, and depositors are said to be paid in full.
