State Health Board figures show pneumonia caused 558 deaths in February, up from 540 a year earlier. Infants under one year account for 140 deaths, and 225 were aged 50 to 80. Of the total, 271 were female and 287 male. Dr Murty calls pneumonia a house disease linked to poor ventilation in homes and public spaces.

Death of Linus D Hunsberger at 6 years old
Linus D Hunsberger died Sunday at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs Sam Hunsberger 707 Wolf Avenue. Death was caused by diabetes. He was six years old on June 10 1904. Services will be held Tuesday at 9 am at the house Rev Krider officiating. Remains go to Shaum church for further services with Rev J B Yoder in charge. Burial will be in Shaum cemetery.
