Hendryx Trial Opens New Testimony Across Key Witness
Thomas Megahan of Berkey and Megahan testified about Hendryx visiting their store to inspect a dispen satory and asking about poisons. Narrow Escape at Depot Hotel Gas Incident
At 7:30 this morning Albert Curtis the porter found guest Harry Miller of Ligonier unconscious in a gas filled room. Dr Barney treated Miller who recovered. Miller says he may have accidentally turned the gas on again after extinguishing it. The transom was opened and the window closed helped him survive.

One Kidneys Mystery: Local Man George Ritter Dead
Post mortem on George Ritter of Elkhart reveals he had only one kidney and never had a second. Reported as a natural freak, the claim is disputed as Ritter did not originate in Elkhart. Ritter died in Fort Wayne from injuries suffered in Warsaw.
