Rescue Near Peril as Youth Plunges Into River Ice
Herrald Moral, 15, of Vistula and High streets, skated with companions on the St Joe river near High street when the ice broke. He fell into six feet of water but was rescued by Charles Geiger, 18, and other boys who pulled him back onto solid ice.

Cyrus K. Lichtenwalter a former Goshen resident died of brain tuberculosis in Indianapolis yesterday. He was 51 and survived by a wife and two children. His remains will be taken to Goshen for burial.
