A wreck on the Lake Shore in Air Line Junction yards near Toledo yesterday at 7 am demolished one engine and several box cars. The crew escaped injury. A second accident in the same period injured engine hostler William Super, breaking his right leg in two places after falling into an ash pit. Passenger conductor Joan Shasberger sustained three broken ribs in a separate incident at Englewood yards.

Death of an Old Citizen in Blghart County
William Gorsuch died at his home three miles west of Goshen after a paralytic stroke. He was years of age and had lived in Blghart county for fifty four years. He leaves seven children and John Gorsuen of Goshen is one son. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.

Death of Col. Albn Tucker Ends Noted Career in Elkhart
The sudden death of Col. Albn M. Tucker at 9 oclock was reported by telegram to Mrs. Fred Reed. Born November 14 1836 in West Hartford Vermont he rose from clerk to colonel in the U S volunteers and helped shape Elkharts growth. He died of heart failure after months in a Flint Michigan sanitarium. He leaves three daughters Mrs. Reed Mrs. Halleck and Miss Tucker. Funeral plans pending under Shiloh post G A R. He long led city projects including formation of a paid fire department and funded the hook and ladder wagon now in use. He served as mayor and postmaster and was a respected civic leader.
