A dry goods firm has secured a lodgment in the Baudoine mansion on upper Fifth Avenue at Fifty-fifth Street New York. By next October it will be in full swing in the heart of aristocratic quarters under the shadow of palatial residences. More bazaars are expected to follow, filling the avenue as trade moves toward the park borders and great mansions of the late nineteenth century.
The Boston Budget notes a Sunday church visit by a little girl with her mother. The child quietly listened yet puzzled over the chant Ah men, prompting a humorous question about saying Ah lady. Plus local ads for DeWitts Witch Hazel Salve Beyerle’s Pharmacy and a hot lunch at Young Brothers.
