The Elkhart County Board of Commissioners held a regular Goshen session on March 3 1873. They named grand jurors for March and September terms, approved a gas company tax reduction, changed the Poor House insurer to Hartford, authorized county book purchases, appointed road viewers for Union township, and confirmed the St Joseph Horse Protection Association proceedings before adjourning.
