Dr J Walker’s California Vinegar Bitters described as a purely vegetable preparation from Sierra Nevada herbs. The ad claims it cleanses blood, renovates and invigorates the system, aids bilious diseases, and acts as purgative and tonic. Sold by McDonald & Co in San Francisco and at Washington and Chariton streets.
