A Great Flood Rescue and a Young Love Tested
In a river town during a devastating flood, Bessy faces peril as her home floods. Ben Sample, faithful and brave, saves her from the wreck, while Jacob Cardle abandons them. Ben swims for a skiff and, after a perilous night, brings Bessy to safety as the old house sinks.
