Thirteen Persons Caught in O H Peck Building Collapse
In Minneapolis on December 20 the east wall of the O H Peck building collapsed after a fire at the Crocker hotel set the structure alight, possibly due to gas. Eleven occupants were trapped, including William Crocker, Mrs Leclaire, Jennie Morris, William Morris, William Bray, Hans Anderson, James, Mrs Mac, two Scandinavians, Peter Kostler, and Albert. Three dead and several others injured have been recovered, with estimates suggesting a dozen dead in all.
