Auto Victims Recover After City Collision
Cheries A. Applegate and Mrs. Charles Meyers were injured when an automobile owned by William B. Mount of Kansas City collided with another vehicle during a New Jersey-Bellevue contest rover run. County Roads Contract Let For Eight and Three Quarter Miles

Linden May 21 special to Journal says Mary Pruvershiry fought Sergeant Covey and Policeman Hagerham at the station as her husband Joseph Pruvershiry was taken to the county jail after threatening to shoot. He wielded a .38 revolver. officers overpowered him and seized the weapon. She then attempted to rush the courtroom and, after bail was refused, threatened to accompany him to jail. She threw her two children toward the train and platform amid chaos before calm returned at the town hall.
