Narrow Escape From Drowning In Rahway River

Rahway on June 10 William Carter a 10 year old boy narrowly escaped drowning while out rowing with companions near Rahway Port Bricktowns. He fell from the boat midstream sank briefly but was recovered with grave hooks and after an hour regained consciousness and was taken home. A gold watch in his pocket disappeared as he was pulled from the water.
