The southbound Frisco Cannon Ball train derailed south of Antlers when a spike forced between rails on a curve. The locomotive rolled down an embankment injuring engineer John Harlan and fireman Skelton, who escaped with severe injuries. Authorities suspect local youths caused the wreck to witness the stop.
