Famous Scout Dies in Want in Asylum Morristown, Am

The varied career of John H. Naylor known as Tadia Scout and veteran of the Civil War ends with his death at the State Asylum for the Inmates on Morris Plains. He was sixty nine, ex engineer and riding academy proprietor, later destitute. He had been an inmate, admitted from the Gry, and died after neglect of injuries at Morris Avenue. Survived by two brothers.

Ferry and yacht crash shocks Jersey residents

A ferry and a yacht collided near New York with several hundred aboard. The yachts bowed toward the ferry, causing passengers to be knocked down and several injured. Rescue crews aided those affected as passengers remained aboard the vessels at the dock.

Murder May Result From Saloon Fight
