Suspected assailant nabbed after Westfield girl found in woods
Annie Carnak of Westfield was found severely injured in woods near Ohenaburg after a man identified as Orazak lured her there on a day trip. Police say he boarded a New York train with three suitcases containing most of her clothing while she lay injured. Detectives, with help from District Attorney Leech, pursue charges of attempted murder criminal negligence and highway robbery. The victim, recovering in hospital, had planned to marry soon and had saved several hundred dollars.
