Onslaught On Cake Wagon Driver Wounded In Collision

At 4 o clock yesterday Hugh Lilley the driver of a cake wagon for the Excelsior Baking Company on Catherine Street was hurled from his wagon after a trolley car collided with the vehicle on East Grant Street. Lilley was hospitalized with injuries while John Muller the motorman avoided a worse outcome, witnesses were recorded, and the wagon spilled a pile of baked goods onto the curb. The rescue and police report followed with Lilley hospitalized and Muller inspecting minor vehicle scratches.
