In a courtroom scene Judge Ma hon quips about a wife in court and quotes evangelist Sam Jones as Charles Chadwick is arraigned on assault charges. Police Fretz arrested Chadwick at Broad and East Jersey streets after his wife reported the attack and torn clothes. The couple is kept in a cell until proceedings.
