Gas Meter Thief Caught After String of Thefts
Downtown residents had complained of a spree of gas meter robberies. Eight complaints were sworn out against Frank Selwnsky of 83 High Street after he was caught by Sergeant McGrail in a cellar while breaking a meter lock. He had 90.45 in his pockets, mostly quarters.
