Obituary for Francis Ernst of Weile Denmark aged 75
Francis Ernst a native of Weile Denmark died after a long illness. He served in the Civil War with Company K Fifteenth New York Volunteers enlisting in 1861 and discharged in 1863. He lived in this city since 1870 and spent years at the New Jersey Home for Disabled Soldiers in Kearny. He resided with the Mogensen family at 53 Rebecca Place and was a member of Khod ore Lametary. His wife died about twelve years ago along with other relatives including Archibald Barkils and Sara Louise Barkils. Surviving daughter Dorntiy and others are noted.
