Dispute on Patriarch Ages Tied to Ancient Year Systems
The piece argues that Jewish chronology altered lifespans by mapping biblical figures to different calendar systems. It claims initial lunar year concepts yielded short ages, then five month, six month, and solar-year reckoning altered Adam, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob lifespans, shrinking ages from hundreds of years to seventies. It cites The Jewish World and related observations on calendar shifts and their impact on biblical timelines.
