County Fair Highlights Focus on Livestock and Ribbons

At the West Union County Fair the live stock exhibits drew strong local representation. J. J. Phillips earned three red ribbons for coach horses, while Frank and Ed Boyle collected multiple pony prizes. Robbins showed Aberdeen Angus cattle with numerous top placings, Kohler Bros. claimed several Short Horn wins, Geo Wander & Son’s Scotch herd posted several firsts, and L. Hunsberger noted multiple hog prizes. The fair, though less crowded due to weather, was deemed a success with officers praised for a clean, modern event for Fayette County.
