Saturday Leads in Traffic Fatalities and Accidents
National Safety Council analysis shows 21 percent of 32,500 fatal motor accidents last year occurred on Saturdays, followed by Sundays with 19 percent and Fridays with 14 percent. All motor vehicle accidents also peak on Saturdays at 19 percent, with Sundays next at 18 percent. Switching cows to winter feed is advised to maintain milk production as fall weather dries pasture.
