Paul's Widening Field of Service
In this sermon excerpt Paul is portrayed as a model missionary called by the Holy Spirit to preach to the heathen. It outlines a threefold pattern: a missionary call in Antioch, a perilous inaugural journey with Barnabas, and a missionary conference that fuels ongoing support. It emphasizes sacrifice, bold outreach, and the need for churches to sustain mission efforts through continual backing and prayer.

Fall cattle demand and garden fertilization guidance
With smaller marketing in prospect and strong meat demand, feeder lambs and vil likely stay high this fall and winter. Garden plots should be fertilized with barnyard manure or compost this fall at about 40 pounds per 100 square feet. a half acre needs 5 to 10 tons. Corn Belt feeders and ranchers compete for feeder cattle, with bids $4 to $5 higher year over year. The corn harvest has cattle-hungry Corn Belt farmers, while ranchers seek calves and light yearlings for Lat Israel next season.
